McDonald’s fries may have a side effect

As far as french fries go, McDonald's are pretty good.  A Japanese study shows that the oil used to fry the fries may have a side effect that a few men would dig

Not sure if it works on women, but a silicone in the oil McDonald's uses for the fries was shown to regrow hair in mice.  I'm wondering whose idea it was to test the ingredient, or did they stumble on it accidentally?
