Check Your Pets

This is My dog Snoop. He's just a big dumb happy pitbull and the best damn dog in the whole world. Last week he came up with a random hole in his side that seemed to go all the way into his abdominal cavity.

Needless to say, I was a bit worried, but it didn't seem to be bothering him. We have another pitbull as well and sometimes they play rough sometimes. Never this rough but it was the first thing that came to mind. Obviously, I took him to the vet ASAP just in case it was some sort of parasite that hatched and made its way out like something straight out of Alien.

As it turns out, even the vet wasn't sure of the culprit. However, she didn't seem horribly concerned by it either. She said it was most likely just him getting hung up on something in the yard and other than possible infection, it was no big deal. She gave us some antibiotics and sent us on our way. I just wanted to make all my fellow pet owners aware. Check your pets.
