Whether you’re an Android user or IPhone, the amount of apps available out there is countless. There’s an app for all the things you need and even more for those that you didn’t know you needed. Anything from health trackers to bar hop mappers. Well, I found an app that does something we never thought possible, or at least I didn’t.

We’ve all heard the old saying that everyone’s got a dopple ganger out there, in fact I’ve even heard that everyone has at least seven other people in the world that could play their stunt double.
Philip Kampff, along with several others, launched the app, Twin Strangers, in 2015 and now has about 4.3 million people in its database. The concept started as a pitch to become a TV show with the idea that there are people in the world who have never met and that aren’t related in anyway could look just like each other. Philip Kampff, along with several others, launched the app in 2015 and now has about 4.3 million people in its database. The app uses face recognition software to compare your image against millions of profiles in its database and is said to get hundreds of results every time. The app is available in the Google Play android app store and the App Store for IPhone. There’s even a chance you could get the opportunity to stand right next to your twin. The app is said to set up meet ups for “twins” as well. I’ve even seen some individuals who turn up not one, not two but three twins from the app. In the app you can view your sample match for free, and then to access the rest of your list, you have to buy credits. On a laptop, for example, 10 credits (which breaks down to 10 chances to enter a photo) will run you $5.99. On the app you can buy three searches for $1.99. If you get adventurous and decide to give it a try be sure to upload the pics to the KBAT app so we can decide for ourselves if it really works….and just because it’s fun to think there really is someone else out there that looks just like you. Twin Strangers
