A new paper published in the Social Science Research Network ranked the 48 continental states and District of Columbia by the degree of psychopathic personality traits found in the residents of each state. You may be surprised at what they found.
Here are the top 10 ranked from most to least.(Texas ranked at #20)

Turns out there are some professions that have a tendency to harbor more psychopaths than others as well. Oxford psychologist Kevin Dutton, author of The Wisdom of psychopaths: What Saints, Spies and Serial Killers Can Teach Us About Success, compiled a ranking listed below of the top 10 and bottom 10 professions for psychopaths.
