This is slightly embarrassing but also one of the most proud moments of my life lol. Now the band itself actually wasn't horrible, but this flyer though lol. Yes, I know the name is probably the cheesiest thing you've ever heard in your life but dammit we were just hardcore like that. For me as a 17 year old kid, this was the big time. After this show, it was only a matter of time before we were taking showers with 18 women at a time and living the life of the bonified rock stars we were.

Strangely enough, I would end up spending the next 12 years of my life playing with 2 of these guys. Death in Ecstasy turned into Purity via a new lead singer and me switching to bass. That gave way to a new lead singer backed by the exact same line up and thus BlacKWaTER MASOCHIST was born. It was with that band that we actually lived out our rock fantasies. We played festivals, tours, and took the stage with people we idolized. By the time we were actually offered a record deal, we were in our 30's with families and turned it down. It made us realize that the rock star life really wasn't what we wanted so we played a few local shows here and there for a while and eventually made the choice to hang it up. I wouldn't change a thing.
