Now that the temps are climbing up in the 100’s and staying there, it’s hard to find stuff to do with the kids that won’t cause heat stroke. No worries fam, I gotchu! I love this by the way, I’ve been trying to wish into existence a swim up pool bar but so far no luck. I’ll settle for a swim and movie.  Sherwood Aquatic center will be hosting a community pool party with a dive-in movie and everything! Odessa Parks and Recreation is throwing the party July 18th, the pool will be open late for the event and there’s gonna be music, contests, giveaways and free watermelon from our local H.E.B.  Party starts at 5 p.m. and the movie should end before 11 p.m.  Kids over 11-months old are $2.50 per child and adults over 19 get in for $4.00 a person (same as it always is).
