The legendary rock band Foreigner is set to take the stage at the Wagner Noel Wednesday and taking the stage along with them is one of our very own high school choirs.

The Odessa High School choir will be performing April 20th at the Wagner Noel as well. It's the third time the choir has been asked to perform with Foreigner but previously the choir took the stage with the band during their show. This time however they'll be opening up for the band with their own music. The Odessa Choir has always been super talented and a tough competitor. When I was in high school in the Permian Choir I remember that Odessa High was one of the only choirs we worried about during competitions. I've heard what comes out of that choir and it's always absolutely amazing. They should be so proud of themselves, I know we all are here in Midland and Odessa.

The choir has been preparing for weeks on end now. I'm sure they're anxious to show the fruits of that melodious labor. If you're not able to make the show Wednesday to see the band and the choir perform you can still catch the choir May 6th and 7th at the Performance Arts Center at Odessa High School starting at 7pm. You get tickets here.

We spoke to the keyboardist Michael Bluestein a couple of weeks back about Foreigner's upcoming show here in our neck of the woods. Foreigner will be in concert at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center, April 20th, tomorrow. You can get tickets at the Wagner Noel or you can check here for availability as well. This will be one of their last performance dates until they head over seas. You only have two more opportunities to catch them in concert before they head for Dublin Ireland on May 10th. They be at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Tx, April 22nd and then their off to Shreveport, LA, April 24th to perform at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.
