I saw this in the Midland Reporter Telegram today and had a few thoughts on it. My initial thought is it's great that Midland is FINALLY looking to build a new school, but that's immediately followed by, "Why the hell would they buy a 9 million dollar golf course to do it?" I'm sure they have all thought it through and are a few steps ahead of me in this thought process and there's a logical reason, but why tear down a thriving business that already exists? I was hoping maybe someone who reads this could offer me a good answer that makes sense. Here's the MRT link to the full story I read. https://www.mrt.com/news/education/article/MISD-to-seek-approval-to-purchase-Ranchland-Hills-14034683.php?fbclid=IwAR3xq9QpjekAIqiQWbFTzj4xDBRUjHSsA_ap1Q-MUPJoQeXtuXH6o0Yt5hw
