Migrant Holding Facility in Midland

Governor Abbott found out late Saturday night that due to the increasing number of migrants at the border, the Biden administration is planning on sending some to a holding facility here in Midland...that we don't actually even have yet.  Over the next three months the Biden Administration will be supporting government wide efforts to efforts to receive, shelter, and transfer minor children who arrive alone at the U.S. southwest border, without a parent or other adult safely.   Although the governor is happy to work with the president on the issue, he's not too happy about finding out the government was setting up a holding facility in Midland.
