The tragic events of Saturday, August 31st, in our small corner of the world can never be forgotten and sadly can also never be undone.  We can not bring back what has been lost or turn back the hands of time.  What we can do however, is what we, as west Texans do best, and that is pull together and take care of each other. If you've lived in this part of the world for long enough you know what hard times are like.  You've seen the rise and fall of the oil industry more than once and you know how to adapt, overcome and lend a hand to those in need. Our community is in need right now.  The victims of what happened this past weekend and their families need us now.  We can't fix what happened but we can try to help in any way possible. The Odessa Chamber of Commerce has a fund set up for anyone wanting to donate to the aide of the victims and their families.  Please donate if you can.  Let's take care of each other.

Here is the link directly to the PayPal account that the Odessa Chamber of Commerce has set up for the victims and their families.

Thank you in advance.  We need each other now more than ever.
