A recent study was conducted and found that mom is not doing the grocery shopping as much as dad these days.

According to Daily Mail, a new study found that men now are the primary grocery shoppers for 51% of the households in the U.S.

Of those men, more than three-quarters say their significant others never do any grocery shopping and that they handle all of it.

The study also found men are more likely than women to make a quick trip to the store for something specific, women are more likely to do all of the week's grocery shopping on one trip.

The study also determined that families in the U.S. spend an average of $318.70 at the grocery store every month, that's the highest amount since 2009.
