Survey Says: What Will You Be Getting Drunk on This Holiday Season?
Holidays are for drinking, and hanging with family and friends.
According to The Harris Poll, a new survey found what people will be drinking this year on Christmas. Here's the breakdown:
- Wine, 64%.
- Beer, 46%.
- Liquor and cocktails, 42%.
- Flavored malt drinks like Smirnoff Ice, 15%.
- Hard cider, 12%.
Those percentages add up to way more than 100%, because naturally some people will be having more than one type of alcohol.
The survey also found 80% of people will be with their immediate family on Christmas, 45% with extended family, 21% with close friends, and 3% with random acquaintances.
