Stupid Criminals: Teacher Claims a Student Stole Nude Photos of Her, But Turns Out She Sent Them to Him

In this edition of Stupid Criminals, we find a teacher in the Houston area who sent photos to a male student she was sleeping with, but tells administrators he stole them.

According to KPRC-TV, Ashley Zehnder was a 24-year-old biology teacher in Pasadena, Texas, near Houston, and she also coached cheerleading.

Earlier this month, Zehnder asked to talk to a school administrator, and said one of her students had somehow gotten a nude photo of her, which he'd been texting to other students.  Her best guess was that he used her phone without her knowing it.

Telling her superiors would have been the smart thing for Zehnder to do, if any of that was true.  But once the school started looking into it, the 17-year-old male cheerleader revealed he and Zehnder had been sleeping together.

There were a bunch of text messages on his phone to prove it, and it turns out she was the one who originally sent him the naked photo of her over Snapchat.

Zehnder was in court yesterday, where a judge set her bail at $10,000.  She's facing felony charges for having an improper relationship with a student.

On another note, Ashley's engaged according to her Facebook page.  No word on whether or not that's still the case though.
