New App Will Quit Your Job For You With a Text Message

In this age of social media and texting, it seems only fitting that there is an app that will help you quit your job with a text message.

Reuters reports that the new app is called simply called, "Quit Your Job" and helps you carefully craft a message to your boss, quitting your job and sending it to him or her.

After the message is sent, you can then use the app to browse for open jobs online.

An employment company called The Ladders is the creator of the app and state, "Despite all the advances in technology we still quit our jobs the same way we did hundreds of years ago.  There's a lot of anxiety around the resignation process, so we use technology to ease the pain in that moment and make it seamless to break up with your boss."

The app is available for free in the App Store or Android Market.
