This is basically a story about a guy who wasn't thinking clearly, and it's explained in the second half why he wasn't.

Back in October, according to the Altoona Mirror, bottles of hand sanitizer started disappearing from a hospital in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Finally after months of hand sanitizer disappearing, the police arrested 51-year-old Lee Ammerman after they spotted him walking around the hospital, started questioning him, and he admitted to the thefts.

When they asked him why he needed all the hand sanitizer, he explained he loved mixing it with orange juice and drinking it for the alcohol.

All total, he stole about $80 worth of hand sanitizer, and faces charges of misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property.  He is due in court February 5th.
