Texas Governor Pauses State Reopening

If we had hit the "go slow" button we wouldn't be where we are now.  Governor Abbott is having to backtrack in leau of the recent spike in Corona cases. He's announced having to pause with the plans to continue to go forward with the states opening phases. There are still many businesses that will be allowed to stay open but already there are bars here in Midland that are having to once again close it's doors. The drastic order announced by Governor Abbott this morning, according to Nytimes.com, was to close bars back down and scaled restaurant capacity back to 50%. We will just have to wait and see if things get worse at this point and whether or not we're on the road to another shut down of society.
