Spankings only allowed in Hollywood now

Somewhat joking.  The Midland ISD School board changed, or shall I say, updated it's policy on Corporal punishment.

I have no interest as I have no kids.  I thought corporal punishment was removed years ago?

Here's the story.

It's a pretty involved explanation, but to me, it seems kind of ridiculous.  Parents could sign a waiver allowing punishment, and punishment was dished out by assigned 'designees".
