Oh yeah, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that drinking water is also a great way to cool off on a hot summer's day. However, no one ever started a story with "hold my water and watch this".

Drink Up: 5 Refreshing Beers for Summer

You can find these beers in the Abilene area at places like Market Street, H-E-B, Big Johnson Liquor & Beer, Filo Liquors, and Taylor County Taphouse.

Just remember, drinking beer will dehydrate you so please drink plenty of water as well. Falling out in the heat we've got just might kill you.

Drink Responsibly.

Speaking of beer, make plans now to join us at the Abilene Beer Summit at Frontier Texas on Saturday, September 24th. You'll definitely find beers like those above and many more. As a matter of fact, you can expect over 145 different beers at this event, which benefits New Horizons.

Take it from someone who has been every year, the Abilene Beer Summit is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.
