NASA is hiring a “Planetary Protection Officer”

NASA is hiring.  This job pays six figures.  I wouldn't take it for seven. I saw this article on msn.com

They list the job as "Planetary Protection Officer".  My interpretation is your would basically be a lab rat or Guineau Pig.  You would fly out in space, be isolated, and exposed to potential diseases that could be heinous, or with no cure.  Maybe a flash eating Virus!.
