U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers have seized a pound of methamphetamine that was hidden inside tamales. It happened at the Nogales border crossing in Arizona.

According to a press release, the 19-year-old suspect was caught after he crossed through a pedestrian gate. When he spoke to U.S. Customs agents he said his bag only contained food. But, after a quick search they found the drugs which has an estimated street value at more than three-thousand dollars. Those are some expensive tamales.
