With these cold winter months among us, no doubt our littles are tired of being cooped up inside and let's be real, we run out of ideas to entertain and their gaming systems and tablets take over. WHAT FUN CAN MY KIDS PARTICIPATE IN?

The event is the annual City of Odessa Parks and Recreation Take Me Fishing fishing class

WHERE IS IT HAPPENING?

Take Me Fishing is taking place on Saturday, February 5th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Comanche Trail South Pond Park 301 Interstate 20 Service Rd in Odessa

CAN ALL OF MY KIDS PARTICIPATE?

children of all ages can participate however those over 18 will require a fishing license

WHAT WILL PLACE AT THE TAKE ME FISHING EVENT?

First of all, you are encouraged to get there early to register at 10 am at the park. After that about 10:45 am representatives with parks and rec and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be on hand to teach the basics of fishing.

Make sure to stick around for food, fun, games and prizes! If your kids have not yet learned how to fish, this is the perfect opportunity for them to learn. Make plans with your family now for February 5th.
