The NFL playoffs are going to be here before you know it, and the Cowboys have their big-name wide receiver to make a deep playoff run, it's just not Odell Beckham Jr.

According to the Dallas Cowboys, T.Y. Hilton last played for the Indianapolis Colts in the 2021 season but he has been out of the league this year, until now.

T.Y. Hilton is a four-time Pro Bowler (2014-17), he has five 1,000-yard seasons under his belt and almost 10,000 career yards.

Odell Beckham Jr. is not out of the question either for an off-season signing. Since he would not be able to play this season after an ACL injury he suffered in the Super Bowl last year, the Cowboys passed on him after a visit last week.

Hilton's numbers were not good last year with the Colts where he only caught 23 passes for 331 yards and had only three touchdowns. But he still ended up one of 15 NFL players in the Super Bowl era to have at least 3 TD catches in the first 10 seasons of his career.

He joins the other Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, James Washington, and Noah Brown who had game-changing catches to lead the Cowboys over the Texans in the last few minutes of the game.

Hilton signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys and head coach Mike McCarthy says he is ready to play this weekend when the Cowboys travel to Jacksonville to take on the 5-8 Jaguars.

Hopefully, the Cowboys will be able to get past the Divisional round of the playoffs which has been where the Cowboys' season has ended the past few years.
