DIY Star Wars Christmas Tree

Progress on the Star Wars tree isn't moving near as fast as the progress we've made getting the 10 year old through all the movies. However,  this is one of the funnest themes for a Christmas tree I've taken on so far. The hardest for sure but also super fun. The lightsaber lights weren't hard they were just time consuming. In case you care to take a shot at your own Star Wars tree the lightsaber lights are just made with regular led lights, colored straws and either black electrical tape or gray or black duct tape. You can go as far as making markings on the tape but I'm a busy Rock Chick and I need to move on to building the tree topper...a death star.
