The schedule will not be released until tonight (5/12/22) but the Dallas Cowboys already know their opponents for the season.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, despite finishing first in the NFC East, the Cowboys hold the easiest schedule for the 2022-23 season.

The Cowboys will see six teams that made it to the playoffs but the overall win percentage of their opponents is 0.462 which is tied with their arch-rivals in the NFC East, the Washington Commanders.

The benefit of next year's schedule is they will be playing some of the worst teams in the league from last year like playing the Giants twice who finished 4-13, the 3-14 Jags, the 3-13-1 Lions, the 4-13 state rival Texans and the 6-11 Bears.

But this does not mean that the Cowboys have a cakewalk to the Super Bowl this year. They will be playing both the teams that appeared in last year's Super Bowl, the Bengals and the Rams. They also get the best playoff teams in both conferences, the Packers and the Titans, not to mention that they have to play the 7-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The overall 2022 win-loss record of the Cowboys' opponents for next year is 164-124.

There has been one game that has already been released before the full schedule is released and that is the game with the Green Bay Packers which will be in week 10 on November 13 which will be head coach Mike McCarthy's return to Green Bay.

The full NFL schedule is scheduled to be released tonight at 7:00 CDT on the NFL Network and ESPN 2.
