17% of single guys now have a cat as a pet

I am in a growing category, men with cats.

17% of single men have cats.  This compared to 13% 5 years ago.  I grew up with cats.  I love animals in general.  Generally speaking, it seems folks in this area view cats on the same level as squirrels.
