Robber Gets Busted When He Sends a Friend Request to His Victim

In this edition of Stupid Criminals, a man decides the day after a robbery to send a friend request on Facebook to his victim. According to Kitsap Sun, a woman was waiting for a ferry on last Tuesday in Bremerton, Washington when a guy hit her in the back of the head, stole her iPod and purse, and took off.

The woman did not get a good look at her attacker, but she did notice a distinct triangle tattoo on his neck.

Then the next day she got a friend request on Facebook from a 28-year-old guy named Riley Allen Mullins who happened to have a triangle tattoo on his neck.

Yes, it was the same guy, he had gotten her name from her drivers license in her purse and decided to friend request her.

She called police and Mullins was arrested for second-degree robbery, and first-degree stupidity.
