Stupid Criminals: Midland Police Looking for ‘Selfie Bandit’

In this edition of Stupid Criminals, we find a local man who decided to take a selfie with a stolen phone.

According to our media partners at Newswest 9, the man broke into a car at Club Arriba on south Midkiff a couple of months ago, stealing a purse that included an iPhone.

The iPhone was still connected to the owners iCloud account which this stupid criminal was apparently not aware of, so he decided to take a selfie of himself with the stolen phone.

The picture was uploaded to the iCloud account of the owner and now the Midland police have his photo and are asking the public to let them know who the man in the picture is.
