Midland Man Sets Wife's Clothes on Fire For Refusing to Have Sex

A Midland man was arrested for setting the clothes of his wife on fire after she refused to have sex with him.

According to NewsWest 9, Deputies were called out to a home on West County Road 121 in Midland County.

There they found 31-year-old Armin Rubio, and a fire on his front porch with flames up to five feet high.

Rubio told deputies that he tried to have sex with his wife but she didn't want to, so he gathered up her clothes, placed them on the front porch, and lit them on fire.

The arrest report also stated there were two children inside the home, at the time of the fire, one of which was sleeping on the couch near the porch.

Rubio is currently being held in the Midland County Jail on two charges of endangering a child.
