Stupid Criminals: A Man Steals a Car to Get to His Hearing for Stealing a Car

Here is a guy who tried to be responsible but in the most irresponsible way.

According to KRCR-TV, last week 21-year-old Michael Heller of Redding, California was scheduled to be in court for stealing a car.  Unlike most criminals, Heller wanted to make an effort to show up for his hearing.

But since he didn't have a ride, and he is a stupid criminal, he decided to steal another car to get to his hearing.

Police caught up to him, and he freely admitted to stealing the 1989 Ford Ranger to get to his stolen vehicle hearing.

He was arrested for grand theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.

There was no report on how his other case is going, but he gets the stupid criminal of the week award anyhow, so congratulations Mr. Heller.
