Well, here’s a general manager who’s not afraid to make bold moves.
Andy Milovich, general manager of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, has lived up to an earlier promise when he got a prostate exam during the seventh inning stretch of the team’s home game on Thursday night.
Milovich also backed up another pledge by singing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ during the procedure.
Fans didn’t get an up-close and personal view, thank goodness. The exam was performed in the radio booth while cameras shot Milovich from above the neck, with the “action” being broadcast on the scoreboard.
Milovich, 45, took the whole matter in stride. “It wasn’t bad. The doc was done maybe 15 seconds into the song. I think my next exam is going to be a significant letdown.”
