Who doesn't love a frosty from Wendy's? I have to admit that I am a chocolate frosty fan. I love to dip french fries in my chocolate frosty. The vanilla frosty from Wendy's has obviously been a staple of the frosty family from the beginning otherwise Wendy's wouldn't have kept it this long.

What is going to take its place? They can't take away something without replacing it with something new. Apparently strawberry is the flavor of the summer. Wendy's is replacing the classic vanilla frosty with a strawberry frosty. They are saying it will only be available for a limited time but you and I both know that if it's a hit they will leave it on the menu. How do you guys feel about the vanilla frosty going away?

Here is what Wendy's Cheif Marketing Officer had to say about the new flavor:

"We're always listening to our fans and as the most-requested item, it was a no-brainer for us to bring the Strawberry Frosty to the menu this season,"

New frosty flavors aren't something Wendy's offers often. Other than chocolate and vanilla, Wendy's has only offered other flavors that were served on a limited basis. In 2019 Wendy's debuted its birthday cake flavor in honor of their 50th birthday. The birthday cake frosty featured classic birthday cake flavors and then they enhanced that with Frosty cookie sundae, which was the new Frosty flavor topped with sugar cookie pieces and sprinkles.

The reason I say strawberry is the theme of the summer is that the strawberry frosty isn't the only strawberry item joining the menu. Wendy's is adding a strawberry chicken salad to the menu.
