Venmo is the Google of Cash Apps
Venmo is the Google of cash apps. Think about it, it's probably the most used cash apps of all the cash apps available right? I mean, it's the only one I use. Considering cash apps are fairly new in the world of apps they're looking alot like Google. What I mean is, sure there are other apps out there, just like there are other ways to look things up on the interwebs. When is the last time you used something other than google to find instructions on how to do something or to find a recipe? I realize people are using other apps to transfer money but you gotta admit Venmo seems to be the most popular. The creators of the app, Andrew Kortina and Iqram Magdon-Ismail met in college in 2001. The two were randomly paired freshman roommates at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2009 they launched Venmo but the app was originally a music startup that allowed folks to send a text to a band that would show up in thier email as an mp3.
