A Central Texas mom is making headlines today after claiming that she believes that the new Disney Hocus Pocus 2 movie might be casting spells on anyone who watches it. She warns that " You unleash hell on your kids," when the show is broadcasted on your television set. “A worst-case scenario is: you unleash hell on your kids and in your home,” offers concerned mother, Jamie Gooch, “The whole movie is based on witches harvesting children for blood sacrifices.”

Released on Disney Plus at midnight on September 22nd, instead of in theatres, Hocus Pocus 2 starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimi brings about the return of the Sanderson Sisters, who are accidentally brought back to modern-day Salem and now must be stopped from wreaking havoc on the world.

Gooch is turning heads with a viral post on social media and discussed her concerns about the new movie with KWTX.

“Do not watch this film,” she warns, “Everybody thinks it’s fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home.”

You can read the original post below.

Gooch also offers further that as a woman of faith, she stopped participating in Halloween several years ago and offers that even if you disagree with her regarding the new movie, she felt the weight of the movie's subliminal messages and offers that it's important to think and even, "overthink" what we are partaking in."

Here is the official Disney trailer of Hocus Pocus 2 on the Walt Disney Studios YouTube channel.

But one place those sinister Sanderson sisters won't be found is out our free annual Townsquare Hallows Eve Boo Bash on October 30th from 3 to 5 pm at DeLeon Plaza thanks to Victory Kia and local Crossroads businesses.
