Hocus Pocus Sequel in the Works?

Well I'm not sure how this one's going to turn out but I'm eager to see how on earth Disney is going to match the greatness of this all around Halloween Classic. Honestly I was surprised this hadn't happened earlier but the truth is the movie wasn't a hit when it first released in 1993. It came out the same time as Free Willy and just didn't do as well as Disney had hoped. I'm sure we can all agree however, it's certainly become one of the most loved Halloween movies of all time. So far from what I've read the sequel will have the same three main characters.  Thank goodness it's a sequel and not a remake by the way, otherwise I'd be boycotting it.  Plot details and other characters are unknown as of yet, same with the release date, if in fact there is one. What we can hope for is that Disney keeps listening to the fans and there's a good chance we see Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+ sometime in the next year or two.
