After successfully robbing the bank, things began to get more violent as Carrington continued his crime spree. His next stop was at his job, P.F. Chang in La Palmera Mall.

Carrington entered the restaurant where he got into an argument with a co-worker. The argument quickly escalated and Carrington pulled out a gun and shot his coworker, 34-year-old Travis Boring.

Police arrived at the mall and Boring was taken to a hospital where he sadly passed away. While police were busy dealing with the mall situation, Carrington managed to flee the scene before getting caught, however, his crime spree was still not finished.

Police were notified of a residential shooting nearby. A 39-year-old man had been shot but managed to call for help at a nearby store. Things soon began to catch up to Carrington after he was pulled over in a traffic stop. He attempted to ' discard a firearm in an empty lot.'

Anthony Dwayne Carrington has pled guilty to one count of bank robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence. He faces up to 25 years in prison for the robbery and up to life in prison for the firearm charge.
