Tawny The Rock Chicks Choir Resume
That's not me in the picture by the way, in case you were wondering.
Anyway, so this is the time of year, every year, I really start to miss being in a choir. I've been in some form of organized group singing since forever, but if you don't have a church or happen to be a part of an impromptu Barber Shop Quartet, you're stuck singing Silent Night in the shower alone. I don't have a church but I really wanna sing in a choir this holiday season so I'm putting my choral resume up for review in the hope's that some kind church or random street choir will see it and have pity on me by letting me sing in their choir for the next few months.
I've been singing forever but it wasn't until the band director in my first year of junior high signed me up for choir and out of band, that I was able to sing in an formal choral setting for the first time. After that it was everything, every day, all day. I sang in choir from then all the way through college. I've sang in and judged a ton of karaoke competitions. I've auditioned for Amercian Idol twice and even got all the way through enough producers one year to sing for Paula, Randy and Simon. If you let me sing with your group, any kind of group, church choir, street choir, just a bunch of choir nerds that meet up once a week to sing, I DON'T CARE! If you'll let me sing with your group I'll clean your rehearsal I just NEED to sing in a group this year or I'll either and die.
Hope to hear from you soon!
