One in three people that end up in the emergency room with an injury are there because they got injured while they were drunk, and someone was actually keeping track of how they got drunk, and here are the results:

According to NBCNews.com, there is a study out by John Hopkins University that found the six brands that lead to the most visits to the ER.

  1. Budweiser
  2. Steel Reserve
  3. Colt 45
  4. Bud Ice
  5. Bud Light
  6. Barton's Vodka

So it looks like cheap beer, cheap liquor, and 40's of malt liquor possibly make you visit the ER more often than any others.  The study was done at only one hospital in Baltimore, in a mostly black neighborhood.

Malt liquor is more heavily advertised in black neighborhoods which is why it is so prominent on the list.

Researchers say things like malt liquor and cheap vodka and gin would probabaly still show up on a nationwide list because they offer a lot of alcohol for a cheap price.
