I love tacos! Who doesn't? We even gave it its own day, Taco Tuesday. I've had Fuzzy tacos, Twister tacos, Torchy's Tacos and even Pink Taco in Las Vegas once. (formerly in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-it has since closed) But I hear a new taco is coming to town, to Midland to be exact.

According to the Maybe In Midland-Odessa Facebook page, the Rusty Taco will be opening up in the San Miguel Square, 3303 N. Midkiff Rd. I'm curious. I've never eaten at or even heard of a Rusty Taco, so this is exciting news. You can never have too many tacos places and options in my opinion.

Here are what some West Texans have to say about the potential new taco shop:

Marc-because that parking lot/intersection isn't already difficult enough....

Vickie-Great, just what we need more tacos

Brenda-Yes!! Love!! I miss them from when I lived in Omaha!

Dria- It won't be as good as some of the places I've had here though!

Kailey-We were just talking about Rusty Taco yesterday!

Victoria-a new place we need to try amongst all the others

Clay-Is that what is taking over the branch? I heard it was going to be a coffee shop?

Jennifer-How exciting we need some more places in Odessa

Patricia-yummy!! Food looks good! & the margaritas look even better!

As soon as I saw Patricia's comment, I had to investigate for myself. You had me at margarita!

Over on rustytaco.com, I'm already seeing some of my favorites, fish tacos, dynamite shrimp tacos, picadillo, roasted pork, fried chicken, brisket and even black bean tacos just to name a few.

They also have breakfast tacos, chips and queso, nachos, churros and sopapillas for dessert and on the rocks and my favorite frozen margaritas!

Ok now I'm excited! No word yet as to when the Rusty Taco will be opening but this is a welcome addition for 2022.
