Quarantine is a Great Time for Pet Fostering
There's more to do than just binge watch TV guys. Right now is the best time to be a pet foster and the organizations around here are in desperate need. Working from home can have it's own set of difficulties, coupled with your new co-workers demanding PB&J sandwiches every few hours and being constantly bombarded on the internet with all the bad news. I personally have been dealing with the stress and anxiety by watching hours of cute animal videos but then I thought....what if I had a few of those roaming around the house for a while? We've already got the chubby pitty but there's no reason he can't have a playmate. I'm going to list some of the organizations locally that I know are needing fosters but I don't know how many our area truly has so if you know of some that aren't listed please let us know and I'll get their information added.
Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals, 4200 N Fairgrounds Rd, Midland Texas, 432-683-7387
Midland Humane Coalition, 4206 Loop 250 Frontage Rd, Midland Texas, 432-557-3405
MASA, midlandpets.org
Dust Bowl Animal Rescue, dustbowlanimalrescue@gmail.com
Plus there are tons of groups on Facebook dedicated to finding fosters for pets.
I promise pet fostering is one fo the best decisions you'll ever make.
