Late Nirvana Frontman Kurt Cobain Celebrated With New ‘Tribute’ Comic Book
With this year being the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death, the tributes keep coming in for the late Nirvana vocalist. One of the most recent salutes is a new comic book coming from Bluewater Productions that revisits Cobain's accomplishments and life story.
Bluewater Productions have a history of creating bio-based comics based on musicians, and Jayfri Hashim had the honor of writing and illustrating 'Tribute: Kurt Cobain.' A few sample pages have been shared, and they seem to follow a biographical narrative.
Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis states, "The 'Tribute' line of comic books tells the stories of people that have made a significant difference in the world while they were with us. It is a way for us to honor these people who have made a difference in the world."
The 28-page, full color comic book will be released on April 2 and will be available in print and digitally. Print copies may be purchased for $3.99 at this location, while the digital version of the comic is available via iTunes. Check out one part of the comic below.
