The band started their run with a convincing victory over Chevelle's "The Red" in the first round. They also outlasted Queens of the Stone Age's "No One Knows" in the second round, and emerged victorious in a hard fought match against Godsmack's "I Stand Alone" in the quarterfinal round.
After winning their bracket, Linkin Park's "In the End" eeked out a victory against Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" in what would be their stiffest competition.
