Brittany and Brandon Smith of Knoxville, Tennesee were unfortunate to receive such news in 2017 when they were told that their son Gunner had a severe brain tumor.  Sadly, Gunner fought bravely for four years before passing away in 2021.

The Smith's witnessed firsthand how stressful and financially draining it can be to have a terminal child.  Since 2021, the Smith family wanted to give back and vowed to continue to fight despite Gunner passing away.  They were inspired to help assist families who are going through a similar experience that they had gone through with their son.  This eventually led them to the development of the All-Heart Gunner Foundation. A foundation that provides financial assistance for parents battling childhood cancer.

Adult Prom

The Smith family mentioned that they wanted to do something different to raise funding for the foundation.  They wanted to do something different besides a 5k run or other typical fundraising campaigns.  That's when they came up with the idea of an adult prom.  They claim it is just like a high school prom but for adults.  The event got so popular in the Knoxville area that they hosted the event 3 different times.  This eventually led them to take the Adult Prom concept to other areas of the country.
