First ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Season 2 Footage: Fear the Swimming Dead
All eyes on The Walking Dead’s 2016 return have just eight weeks before Fear takes them out to sea, returning the prequel companion series for an all-new full-length season abroad. We’ve seen a few airborne teasers of Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 to date, but the Dead have finally taken to water in the latest look, along with a host of new survivors.
Entertainment Weekly debuted the first official footage from Fear The Walking Dead Season 2, which follows a prior trailer in returning Flight 462 to the fold, this time as survivors on a raft. Of course, if the plane landed in water, and survivors managed to float their way toward a yacht, the swimming dead can’t be far behind.
Elsewhere of Fear The Walking Dead Season 2, premiering its first of seven episodes on April 10, and the later eight at a different time, we know that Hemlock Grove star (and almost-Wolverine) Dougray Scott has joined the new season in a mystery role, along with Arturo Del Puerto and It Follows star Daniel Zovatto in recurring parts. Joined by Chris Hardwick’s Talking Dead after every episode, and Moving to Mexico for a more aquatic production, so reads the Season 2 synopsis of Fear The Walking Dead:
Season one left off with Madison (Kim Dickens), Travis (Cliff Curtis) and their extended family taking temporary shelter in Strand’s (Colman Domingo) gated estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. As civil unrest continues to grow and the dead take over Los Angeles, Strand prepares to escape to “Abigail,” his large yacht moored offshore.
We’ll learn more toward the official April premiere, but stay tuned for the latest on Fear The Walking Dead Season 2.
