Megadeth's Dave Mustaine fired his guitar tech last night (Wednesday, Oct. 21) following the band's show in Brisbane, Australia, and had a flurry of unkind words to say about the guy. Evidently, the frontman was less than enthused with how the show went and placed the blame solely on his guitar tech. Detailing the tech's termination, Mustaine uploaded a video to Periscope (watch above) and informed everyone that his "wheelman" is "a total waste of skin and life" in addition to a profanity-laced tirade of insults.

Apologizing to the fans, the frontman stated the fans "deserve way better than this jerkoff did tonight, I'm sorry. Megadeth is way better than we appeared tonight." This comes just a couple days removed from when Mustaine commented on the band's performance in Perth to the Australian Associated Press, “My expectations are so incredibly high that I don’t know that we’ll ever have one of those shows, but as far as did it make me happy? I was completely chuffed.” This was in light of a show that wasn't perfect in his eyes, but he understood that his expectations are quite lofty.

Check out the news video above to see what else Mustaine had to say about his guitar tech, which is harsh to say the least.

The show was the conclusion of Megadeth's brief run through Australia, comprised of four dates. The stint also marked the first time Chris Adler (Lamb of God) had played with the band since his debut on July 18 at the Quebec City Summer Festival.

Megadeth's new album, Dystopia, will be out Jan. 22, 2016.
