For a guy whose aim is not that good and tired of a mess around the toilet, what is the thought of adding a urinal to the bathroom at home?

I think it would be a great idea, now I am not wanting to get rid of the toilet because not all visits to the bathroom are to do #1, but just add the urinal to the bathroom next to the toilet.

The wife is still on the fence about it and is not sure if the bathroom will all of a sudden look like a public men's restroom.

I don't think it will, it's not like I want the modesty boards on either side because I am pretty sure it is not going to be used at the same time someone else is in there.

The Pros: No more dried pee around the toilet, when male friends come over they can use the urinal also and not pee on the floor around the toilet, and it would be a rare thing in a residential bathroom which would be cool and possibly increase the value of the house.

The Cons: It might be expensive to run a pipe to where the urinal would go and to also extend the sewer line to the urinal too. I haven't looked into that yet.

OK, that's all I have for cons because I still think it will be a great addition to the bathroom.

So what are your ideas, yes or no to the home urinal?
