We all claim to be animal lovers but it’s time now to prove it.  The Midland Humane Coalition will be hosting the 5th Annual Hot Dog Run June 15th and they want the public to join in on the most adorable race in Midland. You can run or walk a 5K or 1 Mile trek with your puppers to benefit MHC’s Cats & Dogs.  The 5th Annual Hot Dog Run is a fundraiser presented by Sandstone Ridge and Sandstone Crossing and the funds raised go to help with the operations at the Adoption Center.  MHC’s mission is to rescue healthy, adoptable pets from euthanasia and get then to their furr-ever home. They also help to provide the community with low-cost Shot & Microchip Clinics and to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, proper pet care, and humane alternatives to surrendering pets.  The Hot Dog Run is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Midland Humane Coalition each year.  The event will include a Costume Competition, booth and prizes.

I went ahead and included the info here as well.
