Two coincidences have come out of the two Malaysia Airlines tragedies in the past few months, on that's horrible and one that's incredible.

According to the New York Post, here is the horrible coincidence:

Kaylene Mann of Australia lost her brother and sister-in-law on the Malaysia Airlines flight that disappeared over the Indian Ocean in March.  Now she's lost her stepdaughter on the flight that was shot down over the Ukraine.

Kaylene's brother says, "It's just brought everything back.  It's just ripped our guts again."

According to Gawker, here is the incredible coincidence:

Maarten de Jonge is a cyclist from the Netherlands.  He was originally supposed to be on the flight that disappeared in March, but changed it to the one that went down last week.  Incredibly, he ended up changing that flight too.

He's handling this exactly right, "I have my story done and I'd like to leave it, my story is ultimately nothing compared to the misery.  [There are] so many victims, that's a horrible thing."
