Pearl Jam concerts are an event for most fans, but one fan in particular got a night he'll never forget during a show in Spokane, Wash. This past Saturday (Nov. 30), Eddie Vedder noticed a fan in the audience holding up a sign saying that he would let the band shave his dreadlocks if they played his request.

While it likely won’t come as a surprise to Pearl Jam fans, the band's new disc ‘Lightning Bolt’ landed in the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart, earning Pearl Jam their fifth No. 1 debut.

Pearl Jam have injected some electricity into the rock world with their new album ‘Lightning Bolt,’ which dropped on Oct. 15. The disc follows up 2009’s ‘Backspacer’ with 12 new songs including the first single ‘Mind Your Manners' serving as Pearl Jam's triumphant return. With their new disc ‘Lightning Bolt’ due out tomorrow (Oct. 15), NBC’s ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ will celebrate Pearl Jam next week (Oct. 21-25) with various musical guests digging into the extensive Pearl Jam catalog and performing songs in honor of the band. In addition, the week will culminate with Pearl Jam performing back-to-back nights on the show.

Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder is certainly outspoken with his personal ideology, and in a new video interview, the legendary frontman addressed the issue of guns. In a display of his passion for the subject, Vedder went as far as to say he almost wishes "bad things" upon gun owners who make the pro-gun argument that "it's fun."

Pearl Jam's 'Lightning Bolt' album is set to arrive on Oct. 15, but it was a lengthy journey getting to the completion of the band's latest disc. To give fans a little insight into the creation of the effort, Pearl Jam have posted a nine-minute short film shot by directing pal Danny Clinch.

As the days tick down to the Oct. 15 release date of Pearl Jam’s tenth studio album ‘Lightning Bolt,’ the band has revealed the disc’s full 12-song track listing.
