We knew the bad blood between Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and Godsmack went deep, but an entirely new part of the story has just been revealed. From the Crue bassist's own mouth, it was shared that Motley Crue, at one point, threatened to pull out of approximately 15 headlining festival spots if Godsmack were to be added onto the various bills.

While it has been said that time heals all wounds, nobody ever specified how much time. And it appears as though a few years have not cooled the tensions between Motley Crue / Sixx: A.M. bassist Nikki Sixx and Godsmack frontman Sully Erna.

Big news from the Godsmack camp, as frontman Sully Erna has revealed that the band has completed work on its upcoming sixth album. Moreover, the singer promises that the disc's first single will be surfacing soon.

Godsmack's last studio album came out in 2010, but the band is inching closer to completing a new disc. In a new tweet, frontman Sully Erna gave fans an update on the recording sessions for their forthcoming disc.
