Last week a man in Maine was swarmed by a SWAT team after he told a tree removal company to leave so he could sleep.

According to the Morning Sentinel, Michael Smith of Norridgewock, Maine was sleeping and was woke up by a tree removal company working in his yard.

So he went outside with no shirt on and told them to leave so he could sleep.

The tree removal workers called police because they thought they saw a gun in the waistband of his pants, but it turns out it was only a tattoo of a gun pointed downward on his hip.

From far away when Smith only has pants on and no shirt it looks like a real gun, which is what the workers saw.

Fortunately the SWAT team didn't bust down his door shooting.  They eventually sorted out the confusion and no charges were filed.

Check out the picture of his tattoo.
